Sweet Ladybug Baked Goods

Everyone loves baked goods that are made with local products, fun flavors and it's gotta be made with love! I've been following a local bakery on Twitter and Instagram called Sweet Ladybug Baked Goods. All of their baked goods are gluten-free and made with local natural products. They are a small private owned bakery and all of their goodies are all made from scratch.

I was very lucky to have some special goodies delivered earlier this month. I couldn't wait to dig in! After receiving my baked goods, the first thing I noticed was the cute packaging! There was an adorable red container with a reindeer and snowflakes on it with a clear top.  If baked goods are delivered in cute packaging like this all the time, I would be ordering at least every other week! It's just something about cute packaging that makes you feel special! Cookies were stored inside. They were chocolate chip sandwich cookies (2 cookies with a layer of ganache). WOW! These cookies were awesome! They were slightly big and very tasty. It had the right amount of ganache in the middle and the cookies itself were delicious. I can honestly say that these were some of the best cookies I've ever tasted.

There was a second adorable container. It was square shaped, red and it also had a reindeer wearing a scarf on the top cover. Very cute! Inside, there was a variety of small bites. This container included lemon petit fours dipped in dark chocolate, ginger nut crunch (no dairy/eggs) and made with local honey, and then there were lemon raspberry bites dipped in white chocolate. I could taste the freshness in every item. The one thing I loved about every single goodie was that they all had the perfect amount of sweetness in them. Sweet Ladybug Baked Goods uses honey and molasses for sweetening. Natural is always better and I love that about this bakery. If I had to pick a favorite out of everything I received, it would be the lemon raspberry white chocolate bites. I enjoyed the moistness and pairing of flavors (lemon and raspberry are actually some of my favorite flavors).

A huge thanks goes out to Liz from Sweet Ladybug Baked Goods for such amazing goodies. I look forward to trying more of them in the near future. You're definitely a talented baker! To all my fellow foodies, check this bakery out! Your taste buds will thank you! For more information about Sweet Ladybug Baked Goods, please visit www.sweetladybugbakes.com
