Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with Powers Irish Whiskey!
It’s St. Patrick’s Day! What better way to celebrate than bringing it in with a bottle of Powers Irish Whiskey! If you haven’t heard of this brand, here’s a little history to shine some light on this awesome whiskey! In 1791, John’s Lane Distillery was established by James Power. Powers iconic “Diamond P” was one of Ireland’s first ever trademarks and is a symbol of pride. In 1886 Powers was one of the first to bottle its own whiskey, Powers Gold Label. In 1889, Powers invented the world’s first miniature spirit bottle named the “Baby Power”. Fast forward to 1971, “Powers Irish” was established.
As of March 2020, Powers Gold Label Irish Whiskey will be launching its new look. The newly designed bottle will be introduced across Powers Three Swallow and Powers John’s Lane from mid-2020 in the USA. In Ireland, Powers Three Swallow and Powers John’s Lane will be released in March 2020. It was also designed to attract a new generation of American drinkers who are eager to discover one of Ireland’s most popular whiskey brands.
The newly designed bottle was inspired by the vintage pot still silhouette, the shape subtly pays homage to Powers’ exceptional whiskey production, the distillation method for which this historic Irish Whiskey is renowned. Powers Gold Label Irish Whiskey in its new packaging will be available just in time for St. Patrick’s Day at Wine and spirits retailers (SRP $ 31.99/750mL) and restaurants and bars across the U.S. For more information, follow Powers on Instagram at @PowersWhiskeyUS
